Trevor has taught me both treble recorder and then classical guitar over several years. What I really like is his enthusiasm for music, and his knowledge of musicality in general, so we are always doing far more than just working through pieces.

Learning the guitar with Trevor is the perfect match of being gently guided to learn essential skills while exploring all aspects of playing the guitar using a student-led approach. This makes every lesson different and really enjoyable. Trevor is happy to explore anything that I am interested in, from rock riffs to classical theory, and using tab, sheet music or improvisation.  Trevor’s love and understanding of music is inspiring.

In our ukulele group, Trevor has ensured all of our musical tastes are addressed. His enthusiasm and obvious pleasure in working with the group have encouraged us to create wonderful music that we never imagined we were capable of.
